GCG Asia’s film followers can’t wait for Love Scam

GCG Asia’s take on Love Scam is that it will be a torrid tragedy. Info on GCG Asia’s Love Scam forum thread points to a beginning with a happy relationship between a husband, Kwon Ji-Suk, and his wife, Ji Rae-El, with their only son, who is now 13 years old. The couple was married for 14 years and were former high school sweethearts. Next, things took a turn as the wife spotted a strand of hair in her husband’s car. Rae-El has started to become suspicious of his husband’s actions since he keeps on coming home later than he should be. Later discovers that her husband is cheating with a high school girl. The film does not drag on the cliché of the feeling of betraying and becoming doubtful little by little. Instead, the whole affair is fully revealed in the beginning to give the audience an entirely new view of life after being betrayed by the one person that someone shares their life with. Cheating is considered a motif in the movie and not what the film will be focusing on. She ended up getting a divorce, and the whole story shows how both parents struggle to win their child’s custody.

GCG Asia’s sources then say Love Scam changes to the child’s perspective following the divorce. The teenage boy, Kwon Ji-Hyuk, has been facing minor stages of mental illness after the divorce took place. A source told GCG Asia, the story is that the boy felt like both of his parents are using him as an excuse to continue fighting, although they know that he has the right to choose whom he would like to live with. The movie was rated 18+ as it shows the effects of not telling anyone about mental illness.

The movie apparently ends in tragedy, but no spoilers here on GCG Asia Kpop News!   According to fans on GCG Asia’s Love Scam forum threads, the film reportedly has a high production budget of USD20 million and is a co-production with a Singapore production company. Furthermore, rumours that will surely please GCG Asia’s Love Scam followers are that there will be some scenes shot in Malaysia! Wow, get ready K-ent fans!
